Women in Supply Chain Association operates as a national convenor and platform within Canada’s supply chain ecosystem.
Women in Supply Chain’s Strategy 2026 - 2030
WISC engages locally, aligns regionally, contributes nationally, and remains informed by global supply chain trends.
WISC is not a training provider, certification body, or consultancy. The Association does not duplicate existing programs or services. Instead, WISC focuses on participation, visibility, connection, and understanding, enabling individuals and organizations to better navigate education, workforce, technology, and funding systems already in place.
This positioning allows WISC to remain accessible to individuals while maintaining credibility with industry leaders, institutional partners, and government stakeholders
Strategic Pillars
Pillar 1: Leadership, Visibility, and Participation
While advancing women remains our focus, our platforms welcome all who support building resilient supply chains.
WISC advances leadership and participation by elevating voices, experiences, and contributions across the supply chain ecosystem. The Association highlights the diversity of roles that sustain supply chains, focusing on contribution rather than hierarchy.
Pillar 2: Skills, Careers, and Future Workforce
WISC strengthens workforce participation by improving awareness of supply chain careers and pathways. Through partnerships with education and workforce organizations, the Association supports alignment between talent, opportunity, and industry needs without delivering training directly.
Pillar 3: Collaboration, Partnerships, and Community Networks
WISC acts as a national convenor, enabling collaboration among industry, education, government, SMEs, and community organizations. This priority focuses on reducing fragmentation and fostering coordinated action.
Pillar 4: Research, Insights, and Advocacy
WISC supports evidence-informed decision-making by translating research, synthesizing insights, and contributing to informed dialogue on workforce trends, SME readiness, and technology adoption.
Pillar 5: SME Engagement and Technology Readiness
WISC engages SMEs to improve understanding of supply chain fundamentals, workforce capability, and technology opportunities. The Association demystifies complex concepts and connects SMEs to trusted partners and programs.
